0.6/1kV CAAI-S Cable with / without Public Lighting.

Application

The product is a new type of aerial cable for power transmission. It is extensively used in overhead power transmission line. It improves the safety and reliance of electrified wire netting.

Standard:

IEC 60228: Conductors of insulated cables.

ASTM A 475: Zinc coated steel wire strand.

NTP-IEC 60228: Conductors of insulated cables.

NTP 370.254: Cables for overhead distribution networks self-supporting XLPE insulated of rated voltages up to and including 0.6/1 kV.

Working conditions of aerial insulation power cable

1)    Rated voltage: 0.6-1kV

2)    The tallest work temperature of the cable conductor?XLPE insulation cable?90oC;

3)    During having a short (lasting less than 5 seconds), the maximum temperature: XLPE insulated cables is 250oC;  

4)    During the cable lying, the ambient temperature must be above -20oC.

5)    Bending radius allowance of the cable:

It should be no less than 4D for the cable with outer diameter less than 25mm;

It should be no less than 6D for the cable with outer diameter of 25mm or more.

Construction:

1. Conductor: Aluminium 1350, class 2.

2. Insulation: Cross linked polyethylene XLPE.

3. Public lighting: Aluminium 1350 insulated with cross-linked polyethylene XLPE.

4. Messenger: Galvanized stranded steel wire insulated with cross-linked polyethylene XLPE.
